    Myth. He wanted to up in weight his whole career and as a fat cruiser he outworked Jirov a known fit freak and work horse.

    Not a 'myth' it's an answer to a Proposed Question... and the response is correct, 'imagine' the continued domination 'IF' he would have remained Super Fit, as to the OP's Question.

    I have NO Doubt he wanted to move UP, this is the Natural Progress of Damn Near ALL Fighters, who a) Naturally Gain Weight with age, and b) find it to difficult or too much of a bother to cut weight.

    so Toney gained weight naturally and as you say 'wanted' to move up. Both Very Normal for MOST Fighters, especially among Bigmen, i.e MWs & L-HWs.

    But the Question was a Hypothetical One.

    Boxing experience?

    Just do what I did. Give yourself an uppercut. That should suffice. I learnt a few things. I’ve got a helluva punch but a chin of granite also. And like El Radar, I have an intuitive sense of knowing when a punch is coming. Now I only need to learn how to get out of the way of same.

    All in all, I definitely have the makings…….
