Fighters who would dominate roy jones at middleweight

Yeah, I don't like SRL and Hearns as middleweights.

Probably too much speed for Monzon and LaMotta. He'd dance around and shake his ass to cute points wins.

Hagler has a good shot at flooring him with his Jab.

Robinson knocks him dead.

 

Typical RJJ hatred here. ****ing Leonard? Are you serious? The man is a welterwright. Fought a total of 6 fights at the weight with 2 official losses, a draw that I have yet to meat anyone who doesn't think was a robbery and a win that is still very controversial to this day.

RJJ was a beast in his prime and at middle, he wasn't undersized like at light heavy. his power was impressive and his speed and athletisism were unlike anything we've ever seen from a fighter.

He may not beat all those guys but he has a chance against all of them, I'd make him a favorite over Leonard, and Lamotta. He doesn't get dominated by any one of them,.

 

They would all be great scraps but none of those guys dominate him ..

 

Nobody would dominate Roy Jones when he was at the top of his game.

 

Only srr no one else against prime Roy noone

 

Roy Jones may well lose to some of the fighters mentioned, but he wouldn't be dominated. Prime Jones was good enought to hold his own with the best at 160.

I think Hearns from the mid 80s when he first stepped up to middle stands a great chance of stopping Jones. I'd pick Hagler over Jones, too.

A faded Hearns called out Jones in 96, but he was far too old for Jones at that point.

Jake beat a WW. And guess what happened to Jake in the following fights?
And it's not like SRR was ever big at MW either.

Now Jones, he was a big MW.

NOBODY dominates Jones jr at MW.

Hopkins, a Big MW, with good technical skills, couldn't even beat him. And Hopkins has always been well schooled fighter despite this bull**** that he was "Green."

I would pick all of those fighters to Savagely Shatter his Glass Jaw. Roy has no Chin. None.

 

I've given some ground with a few mentioned in the OP. Robinson KOs him.

Jones would never step in with these guys if they were around in their primes. Jones never beat a single lineal, unified or undisputed champion in his whole career.

 

He beats em all except probably srl.
and even that one might be a stretch
Hagler can be out boxed an nobody is better at potshotting there way to a decision better than roy. Lomatta would get beat pretty handly imo
ray robinson would be interestin an as some said he wasnt his prime, but if he catches roy its night night
monzon is technically a lot better but I dont see a guy with that kind of disadvantage in speed and overall athleticism beating him.
hearns will get hit an im not sure he can takee roys power.

 

Roy would beat some, possibly all of the aforementioned at MW.



But win or lose, none of them would dominate him.

 

He may be able to beat everyone on that list.
