    Perhaps Foreman was being respectful... Maybe he was a bit intimidated... There's nothing wrong with that, and what makes fighters great is rising to the occasion and putting their fear in the shoe and stepping on it.

    If we take Foreman at his word, he swallowed whatever he was feeling and faced his fear, pummeling it.

    Much respect to anyone who steps into the ring.

    I think Foreman was BSing to tell a good story.

    If he really was afraid then I'd have to say that he was the most dangerous afraid fighter of all time.

    Yeah, but Tyson wouldnt be fighting that Foreman in 89-90 would he? And so far Tysons only ever mentioned Liston as someone hed be scared of.




    Foreman had plenty of oppurtunities to sign, but didnt.

    Moorer would not have been scared to fight Tyson no way.. Moorer is a crazy man. He was not the nervous type. Look how he fought David Tua. The guy was setup to face Tyson after the Holyfield fight, only Tyson lost.
    Tyson wanted regain the titles in the same manner he did in the 80's. WBC, WBA, then a defense, then the IBF title.

    so Lewis fought a Tyson who held the undisputed title around FIFTEEN YEARS earlier by the time they had met. That should say it all you dumb **** :patsch

    Did Moorer hold the IBF title during Tysons second title reign?

    I watched some Moorer Highlights recently on youtube, there was one where he was wearing military clothes and he karate chopped a board. Do u know anything this? it was at a press conference?
