Watching him though, there's a bit of ugliness to his fighting style. I mean his left hooks were often beautiful, as the jab, but aesthetically there's this stiff roboticness, or tenseness, that just makes his less fun to watch.

Someone like Floyd Mayweather is the opposite. A lot of his fights lack suspense, and his opposition level has left something to be desired, but I can watch replays of many of his fights (or at least the highlight reels) for the aesthetic beauty of his boxing style. His movements, defensive maneuvers, pull counters, combos when he actually throws them, etc...I've rewatched that 8th round against Ricky Hatton too many times to count. It's simply beautiful.

I agree completely. I've watched a bunch of DLH fights over the past year or so and been stunned by how stiff and up-tight he seems in his big fights. I'm convinced that it's why he faded down the stretch in some of them. And yeah-- Floyd is one of the few fighters who I enjoy rewatching even in uneventful fights/rounds because of the aesthetics of his movement and cleverness of his tactics.

I would add Mayweather's fights circa 2006-2007 (his pre-retirement run at welterweight and junior middle), which was probably the least dominant phase of his career. Gave away plenty of rounds to inferior fighters by letting them outwork him.

DLH bored me terribly when I watched his fights back in the day and I wouldn't even consider re-watching any of his fights.

I agree also. With Floyd & Bhop you prefer to watch the replay over a cup of tea than live with a beer. I've watched the Ndou and Chavez fights a lot.

To answer the op, it would be Jones jr, De La Hoya, Mosley.

Also I think Tito was awesome until near the end of his career when he became more one dimensional.
