This is my first thread so I'd like to say hey to everyone. In regards to my topic I've always loved watching fighters whos number one means of protecting themselves was to fight. Thpmas Hearns, Aaron Pryor, and George Foreman to name a few. Can the rest of the posters name anymore and tell me about them?
It is, but the problem is that everyone is the answer, every offensive beast there ever was. If are a great offensive fighter, your job is to increase the violence in the ring. If you are a great defensive fighter, or if your offence is inferior, your job is to increase the peace. SO. Everyone, really. The best examples of what you mean might be Joe Louis. Virtual violence is the key here, the threat of violence.
Harry Greb. Jack Dillon and many others said that you spent so much time trying to block Greb's endless fusillades of blows that it left little time (or energy) to mount your own offense.
G-man really was something else, wish he never met such a demise, I would love to see how his career would have panned out.
