Gennady Golovkin is a great mention in regards to the Canelo fights. An official win would have made his record look even better since most consider his overall resume to be nothing special.

Rocky Lockridge's legacy also seems to have been screwed by decisions that should have gone his way such as his fights with Eusebio Pedroza and Wilfredo Gomez. That's 2 HOFers that could have been victories on his resume.

GGG is a good mention. Robbed in first two Canelo fights then has to wait four years as his prime slips away for a final rematch.

I’m seeing very few mentions of fights that I’d call robberies.

Belinda Lauracuente schooled Christy Martin, got robbed, lost another fight two months later, had a layoff and came back as a jobber.

Andre Dirrell getting jobbed from the Carl Froch fight also took something out of Dirrell as far as his career goes. He never became a title holder and his first chance to become one was denied when he fought Froch in his hometown. There was no way you could have made a good enough case for Froch as the winner that night. Who knows how Dirrell's career would have pan out if he actually became a champ after the Froch fight.

I can’t remember watching that fight, but Dirrel continued on in the Super Six so I don’t think it mattered much. Abraham apparently caused a TBI and he sat out for over a year after that and never regained his form.

I remember Freddie Norwood losing his title on a low blow to Derrick Gainer and retiring. Similar to Buchanan against Duran.

Dave Shade (vs. Jack Britton and Mickey Walker), Young Stribling (vs. Mike McTigue), Bryan Downey (vs. Johnny Wilson), Billy Graham (vs. Kid Gavilan), Eddie Cotton (vs. Jose Torres), Tony Canzoneri (vs. Johnny Jadick), Joe Knight (vs. Maxie Rosenbloom), Jersey Joe Walcott (Louis 1, Charles 4). I'll leave the modern ones to you guys.

Amir Khan after getting robbed in D.C. against Peterson.. Partially due to point deduction for “pushing” (how often do you see that in pro fighting…..) The next fight he came out over-zealous trying to bomb out Garcia, got iced, and was all down hill from there…

Same ref who reffed Prichard Colon’s last fight, by the way…

Fenech was clearly finished mentally after the first Nelson fight.

Kovalev was robbed alright, Ward won 4 rds at most. The look at Ward's face as he was given the decision was there for all to see, he knew he got a gift.

Yeah, even if one can reason that Azumah would’ve won the rematch anyway, imo Jeff was not the same fighter post the controversial draw and his fights following the rematch might support that view - but of course the rematch itself and devastating outcome became part of the new equation to possibly explain how Jeff fared thereafter.
