Some fighters may be among your favourites to watch, even if you don't rank them that high, while there are others that you don't particulary enjoy to watch but rank very highly. For example, I rank Henry Armstrong very highly, but don't enjoy watching him that much. Walcott, who I rank substantially lower, is on the other hand one of my favourites to watch. Do you have any similar examples?
norris for me i know he is beatable but he is one of my fav fighters to watch...same with tito he was very beatable even his his prime. on the other hand monzon at i find pretty boring and unspectaculur but has a great set of wins...what can i say.
I rate Carlos Monzon extremely highly, but I don't often watch his fights for pleasure. I am aware that Glengoffe Johnson is not even one of the best fighters of this era, but I have really enjoyed his performances over the last few years.
I acknowledge Jack Johnson's greatness, but his "a-decision-win-suffices" style is not exactly titillating. On the other hand, Laila Ali looks fine but I can never respect her until she meets Ann Wolfe.
Jack Johnson is a guy who rates high but i dont like watching him i dont like watching any fights before the 20s really i think their from a different sport. I like watching Gatti, Ward, Augustas, Castillo, Corralles basically the fighters from the 90s but my faveourite exciting fighter is Carmen Basilio
There are quite a few guys I love watching that I don't necesarily rank highly: Willie "The Worm" Monroe Bobby "Boogalooo" Watts Eugene "Cyclone" Hart Frank "The Animal" Fletcher Arturo Gatti Yaqui Lopez Jump to mind initially
Vic Darchinyan, great to watch but inevitably never going to be an all time great Calderon a boxing great in a midgets body
