What fighters do we think get overrated in terms of greatness, or resume? I always found it interesting that Bowe gets so much love. True, he is a stylistic nightmare for many a heavyweight. But looking at his resume- 3 fights with Holyfield stand out, but not much else. I think it would be hard to rate his greatness with a otherwise weak resume.

Aaron Pryor. Terrific junior welterweight, but gets overrated, thanks in part to the HBO Legendary Nights myth that Leonard and all the big named WWs were ducking him. The Ring ranked him 30 spots higher all-time than Tommy Hearns. Higher than THOMAS ****ING HEARNS.

Never liked Pryor when I watched him live but in retrospect he was a great fighter. Certainly exhibited ATG characteristics in his prime.

Good example I feel, especially in terms of his resume in particular.

Brian Mitchell, Kostya Tzyu, Ray Mancini, Arturo Gatti - overated and in IBHOF.

Donald Curry, Michael Nunn - underrated and not in IBHOF.

I feel like Barrera was a case of a guy who made the most of what he had rather than a guy who was h2h elite at any point in his career.

which is ridiculous. Hearns is greater than Pryor. I don't think there is an argument. Hearns should be rated top 20 for this wins, but he did lose to Leonard and Hagler.. Had great wins, but those fights hurt his legacy. But his wins vs. Cuevas, Benitez, Duran and Hill and his great fights along the way and weights, puts Pryor in the dust.

I will go with Donald Curry. Nunn? I don't think he deserves the Hall of Fame.

If you're just talking resume then Corbett, Tszyu, and maybe Finito.

I think the whole "Pryor is better than Hearns" thing was based solely on the fact that Pryor beat Hearns as an amateur. Of course that fight was at 132 lbs., which isn't that bad for Pryor, but was ridiculously light for a guy of Hearns's height.

Esteban De Jesus if not for Duran would have been a long time champion
and same with Rodrigo Valdez with Monzon. Going on how Mancini and
Gatti made it how could these 2 be not included is puzzling .
The HOF these days selections seemed to be influenced by political and
popularity . And argument could also be made for Marlon Starling.

Sonny liston. Depending on how you view him, he's either up there with Louis or just a big strong guy who got lucky against a champion with a weakish chin.

Interesting pick. I put Liston in same category as De Jesus and Valdez who
were defeated by a dominate Champion but defeated everybody else.
If weren't for Ali Liston probably would have remained Champion for
    long time.
