We hear far too many stories about how fighters end up in a sorry state in their lives after they give up boxing so I thought I'd make a thread where we can discuss the more positive side. Nigel Benn is the first one that comes to mind for me, went from a severly depressed, suicidal man to becoming a church preacher and seems at peace with himself.
Dave Tiberi-retiring after beating Toney and became a decent-ish state promoter. Roger Mayweather-good fighter,retired,became a trainer/comedian.
Max Schmeling, although it took awhile and had some struggles at first, he became really successful in business with Coca-Cola.
didnt know that, doesn't sound like him, i mean that was the main thing against floyd in the build up guess im wrong.
It did happen. He got arrested on his B-Day in Montreal from a strip club. But the ***** had it coming.
