    McCallum i suppose.

    A great boxer-puncher and a bitter whiner.

Whitaker. Have tons of respect for the guy but doesn't seem very likeable.

Honestly, there aren't really any boxers that i dislike the persona of. The only exception that springs to mind is Bernard Hopkins, but i'm not a fan of his style either.

Its more the fans of certain fighters i dislike. And i think in general the fanbase of certain fighters can be a big influence for some people on what they think about the fighters themselves. Because fans from certain fanbases can be very stereotypical

    Monzon.

He had an unblemished 10-0 record with 10 knockouts of Italian Supermodels.

:goodhere here:yep But ye cast pearls amounst swine & i doubt some of the 1st class wankers on here will have any comprehension of what you have just said or have 1in of backbone to admit an understanding & when i read what some of these ****s say about these champions as in calling the likes of Roberto Duran a "Pussie" it's behind mental spastication, these no nothing done nothing wankers are just that; WANKERS:fire

You'll never ever get me or find me calling any prizefighter a pussie or a coward & thats something you'd expect to find in the general from the brats & mini men but to read this SHITE here is really sad, what a bunch of useless ****in sad disrespectful spineless TOSSERS:deal

Mayweather is an annoying individual, but I very much enjoy watching him perform in the ring. Beautiful to watch.

Ray Robinson was a woman-beater, but I love watching him box.

Diego Corrales seemed like a personable guy, but he pled no-contest and went to the clink for assaulting his pregnant wife. Pretty despicable ****. He also apparently was pretty shameless in the way he separated from Joe Goosen. But he was one of my favorite fighters. Big puncher who fought tough opposition, had a ton of heart, threw nice combinations on the inside.

It's kind of characteristic of his attitude when he gloats at Steward after beating McCrory. He definitely felt he got the short end of the stick despite having a very good career.

Did he have any reason at all to feel bitter, you think? I don't know very much about the boxing politics at the time, but Hearns, Leonard and Hagler are the standouts among fighters he never fought. Was there any ducking involved there, you'd say?

McCallum is a Larry Holmes-type when it comes to his boxing career. A decent guy in other aspects perhaps but not so humble about his fighting career. He felt and still does, perhaps justifiably, that he was entitled to a big fight which he never got in his prime aside from Curry. For the most part he had to take on the tough guys that no one else wanted to fight. He's also very proud of what level he was able to take his "craft".

Unfortunately McCallum got a bit too late in the game to get fights with the Fab 4, and the next generation didn't produce any stars until Toney and Roy Jones whom he fought past his true prime.

I agree with almost everything here.... the one thing I dont tho is the Morales skillset, sloppy & not that fun to watch thing.... the reason I love Morales is because he is so technically good at boxing, so versatile & fun to watch while at the same time having the characteristics & attitude you speak of.

You might need to watch more Morales fights in full I think.
