Bazooka is much funner to watch.

Me and Fleaman reckon he had the perfect street fighting style.

Man, I loved that fight. I listened to it live on the radio. Took me back to Bruno-Tyson.

I just think he's not as confident as he's been laying off. He snatches when he's in there he cannot relax. I think Abraham was graduation night. Watch for him to stop Johnson to cement his status as a coming man.

And I don't think Froch-Abraham is a foregone conclusion, though Froch, for reasons you've touched upon, is just going to vanish from the top-drawer overnight. I wouldn't be surprised to see him gatecrash the Ring p4p top 10 before dropping straight and dramatically out of it

Did you boys see the Boxing Monthly article arguing that he's been on the toughest run for any British fighter at any weight ever?

    What did you think?

Were they meaning unbroken run?.I don't know, that's something i'd need to research a bit.

Off the top o' my head just from recent fighters...

    Conteh vs Finnegan>Ahumada>Bennett>Willie Taylor>Hutchins>Yaqui Lopez

is tougher, albeit you have a bad hand break against freakishly tough trialhorse and subsequent layoff in there.

    BUchanan vs Laguna>Paduano at 147>Navarro>aging Hernandez>Laguna

was tougher as well, you could maybe stretch it to include the two tune-ups then Duran, ORtiz, Lee and Watt.In fact up to the Puddu fight Buchanan fought little filler, though not everyone was an outright good fighter.

Unbroken run bro. I'm not home right now so I can't dig it out but I will tomorrow. I'll start a thread, listing the Froch run and some comparative ones. But I came out of the article agreeing.

Barrera's pre-fight tee-offs are among the greatest moments in the sport's history.

    Thats crap.

Say for example me and you work together in a shop. And I call you a 'bell end' you dont have the right to punch me, and if you do you lose your job. Why does it change for boxers?

I've watched Marco's entire career twice over, he was landing shots out of the clinch even before anyone knew his name. It's not that he hears the break call and then tries to get a free shot on his opponent. He just instinctively throws a punch as he is breaking apart from a clinch...even when the referee has no part to play. Not that it makes it right, but Manny clearly milked the late shot. Watch the video, it's quite comical.

I don't recall excessive low shots in the rematch, but we've already established that you've watched a different fight to nearly everyone else.

Because the shop doesn't pay you to punch each other in the face.

In my opinion, if you're going to stand in front of a professional fighter and start saying offensive, personal **** then you should be prepared for a reaction.

Boxers get paid to punch each other with gloves. Not without them.
