    Well Johnson and Winky are differnt in this regard, Winky just holds his gloves up, and that ALONE guards most of the body and arms(See Tito fight)

    Johnson had to be more creative to be able to do what he did. He was moving, cliching, and glove/arm blocking.

    From what ive seen of Johnson he didnt fight anything like that; parrying and catching mainly in defense; Winky literally blocks everything with the back of his opened gloves. Though I haven't seen a great deal of Johnson, i'm no auhtority.

    Nobody else fights like Sven Ottke.

    Roy Jones was very unauthodox, everybody wants to be him now ala Carl Froch, David Haye etc.

    Jack Dempsey`s bobbing and weaving with that enormous left hook was something special in his time.
