fighters who've done extremely well with s**t trainers

    Replies don't mean truth. How do we know the fighters and what gets through to them? The relationship? We just don't know. If they do well are we going to take all credit away from the trainer? From the clips we hear between rounds?

    If a dude is in there beating your ass there is not much a trainer can fix in 60 seconds.

    I can see that, but for even great trainers, there are a ton of washout prospects. Does that fall on the trainer not being good? It doesn't seem they are getting the same heat.

    I don't know, it seems a bit arrogant when we don't see the camp and interaction to fault a trainer for what a fighter never achieved or to not credit the trainer when the fighter does well.

    Guys change trainers all of the time. Their careers don't turn around on a dime.

    But some trainers are **** and some boxers do well under them regardless.
