Good point. I'm just speculating as well, but it seems that the neck muscles that move the head up and down are more developed than the muscles that move the head side-to-side, thus preventing rapid acceleration/deceleration and the resulting brain trauma that would follow.

The Cooney Fight was one of the most bad ass Ko's I have ever seen.
George just walked across the ring all calm... didn't miss a step, put Cooney to sleep on his feet with the upper cut, looked at the crowd, then turned around and put him down face first with a right. Geroge is the ****in man.

it's the punch that u don't see coming that does the most damage.

yeh i have just seen george and abraham putting people more the once to sleep with an uppercut. especially abraham knocked two guys clean out with a short right uppercut.

but it's a very rare talent two have two punches in your arsenal with which you can ktfo an opponent

George was a Monster probably the most powerfull heaveyweight I have ever seen, noticed Lajuan Simon went 12 rounds with Abrahams and then Simon could not last 1 round against Golovkin,Golovkins Power in both hands are a deadly arsenal,no wonder they want nothing to do with him.!!!!

Naseem Hamed. Straight right or left, left hook or right hook, uppercuts with either hand. It didn't matter if it was a short punch or off balance, either hand would do it. And he stopped several guys with body shots early in his career too...
