Ali was done on that level when he was stripped of his license. The guy that came back against Quarry had sub par legs and movement compared to Cassius Clay !

    Joe "Old Bones" Brown
    Ernesto Marcel
    Julio Cesar Chavez
    Leonard Bundu

all warrant mention for having sound defensive ability.

Nobody was talking about the Ali who fought Foremen you idiot. Try the Clay/Ali who fought Liston.

Very good list which unfortunately is going to get panned because to the *****'s there's only one answer to their question, and that the only answer they want to hear.

    Charley Burley
    Pernell Whitaker
    Willie Pep
    "Intoccabile" Nicolino Locche
    Bernard Hopkins

Those 5 guys were virtually untouchable, but against EXCELLENT OPPOSITION.

Floyd looks untouchable against slow, plodding punching bags like Maidana, Guerrero and Hatton. If Floyd had done that to fast, precision hitters like Manny Pacquiao, Keith Thurman, Paul Williams and Kostya Tszyu, I'd take him more seriously.

PBF is arguably the best defensive fighter of all time. Pep PBF Pea in no order.

Can you expand on this? If it's compubox then you have to take into account that it's only been around since about 1985 so all you can gleem from that is stats related to what's happened since then.

From what I heard Jack Johnson also had incredible defensive skills as did Joe Gans.
