Can you guys post some gifs or just name some fights when a fighter executed some good leads.Fighters at the top of my head right now are Larry Holmes,Floyd Mayweather,Sergey Kovalev, and Max Schemling. Right now I am trying to find out which fighters are good at right hand leads to the body. Surprisingly I don't see a lot of fighters use this. Only ones I know how throw it consistently are Lucas Matthysse or Andre Berto

Hopkins has a great right lead. James Toney was great with the counter right.

Why do you suppose it's rare for a fighter to have a good straight right lead?

Right hands leads were discouraged when I learned to box. They have to travel further and are easier to counter than a jab.

If Adrian Broner knew how to use a right lead he would do better against Fighters who crowd him like Chino and Porter. Floyd used the right lead against Maidana a lot. A fighter like Paulie has no right hand at all much less a lead. I personally feel sorry for fighters who cant lead with both hands. There offense is limited

Don't they also put you off-balance if you don't do it correctly?

Ismael Laguna had one of the quickest, most effective lead rights of all time.

I know, 95% of the general forum is like "Who???"

Floyd, Bernard and Toney are the first who spring to mind, I remember Bernard knocked down Shumenov with a perfect lead right, textbook stuff

Hopkins was the first to come to mind, Mayweather to. Yamanaka is worth noting, though his is a straight left given he's a southpaw.
