Unlike chin, anyone can be "soft" in the body, if he get caught clean with murderous bomb!!!

    Lewis was wrong...

    1) Can you name a fighter with a granite chin against bodyshots? Bodyshots are most of the time shot you dont see coming and if it hurt you at the right spot your going down. Also, if you've been hit and hurt to the head, even if u see a bodyshot coming, you might go down.

Most fighter give 6-7 shot to the head for 1 shot to the body, but overall, it take less bodyshots to knock somebody than it take headshots.

I'd say most fighters are comparably soft in the body.

    Just remember "The Three L's."

NOBODY is going to take constant shots to the body. You don't have much of anything except for muscle to protect your body

Andrade was going forward but he was still hurt. I guess some member from this and other post need to take a look at the 0:25 mark of this last part:

Glenn Wolfe. Took a beating for 12 rounds from James Toney. JT landed over 400 punches int he fight.... Fought Roy Jones and got KO'd by one left hook to the body in the first round.

I don't know if I really buy this. What it tells me is that anybody can be hurt to the body with the right shot, including guys with great chins, and we're all so shocked to see them hurt that it stays in our memory longer. Not that they are particularly susceptible to body shots.

It also tells me that setting up body shots is something of a lost art these days, and that a well timed one can really catch guys off guard. Andrade had no idea Bute was going to throw that shot, you could see by the way he walked forward and completely left himself wide open.

I think what Lewis should have said, is that when you have an opponent with an iron chin, you have a better chance of breaking him down or hurting him by going to the body as opposed to headhunting.
