he wasn't hurt because nobody laid a glove on him not because he could take punches. Hell De Valle knocked him down with a good shot Roy did not take it. Then he was brutally KOed twice. Jones has a Glass Jaw and always has.

you are wrong tito had a pretty solid chin, when he was KD it was b/c he was off balance because his balance was not superb but his chin was pretty good, the ony time that it didnt hold up was against bhop a naturally bigger man he was able to take rjj the full 12

Yah yah....no one ever hit him hard for 15 yrs. Come on.

Jones got up from the Del Valle KD and won the next round. He was hit flush plenty in his prime, what you said was a myth. Video evidence proves otherwise. Hell, Ruiz hit him flush.....and got a staight right for his troubles.

But I digress. We already knew this was going to pop up.

Not it isn't. Granite chins are guys like Tua, Margo, and Andrade. Kelly's chin is not in that category.

    :lol::lol::lol:

Yes, I know nothing about Duran. Duran had power, but he was not the type who would stop you with one punch, which is what I was looking for.

Wearing a fighter down, like Chavez did to Taylor is not the type of power I am talking about. I have made that clear as day.

Stop taking offense so easily and try reading all that's posted.

Not so sure about Olivares. His chin let him down at times, as did his tendancy to party and take things lightly.

Tito wasn't china chinned. However, he's been on the canvas way too many times for it to be considered good. I'm not buying the off balance excuse. The man has hit the deck like 10 times in his career. Hopkins is bigger than Tito, but Hopkins wasn't a big puncher at that stage in his career. Furthermore, Tito was naturally bigger than many of the guys that decked him at 147.

Well, like i said, i only think that Pavlik's chin is closer to "granite" than "average". That's all i'm saying. So it's not "granite" but it's far from "average". That's just my take.

    How about Manny Pacquiao.

He was stopped as a kid, but not since then.

I'll give a shoutout to one of ESB's own...Darnell Wilson.

Great power when he lands it, a great chin, even if his skills leave a lot to be desired.

I personally think Benn had a better chin than people give him credit for, I mean you look at his losses and you immediately see 4 KO losses out of 5.

However, these losses have come to Steve Collins, twice at the end of his career, and Collins was a tough durable bloke who had Chris Eubank down, and he had a granite chin, so you can see he carried some power.

Also Michael Watson, 21 KO's in 25 wins, and also Chris Eubank, who I think people will appreciate had some power despite a 50% or so KO to wins ratio.

He also stood up to Gerald McClellan in there fight, okay he was knocked down twice, one admittedly a big knockdown seeing as he was out of the ring lol but still this is a man with great power and Benn wasn't KO'd.

He took a lot of good shots in his career and was never clean KO'd aswell.

Good choice. You rarely see him get hurt in there. However, I question his power at 130.

As do I. But throughout his career, he is certainly a powerful puncher. 122 and 126, he was devastating.
