Well I think he was really young and still growing he had to fill out. He's 6'4.

What do you think his ideal weight was? Best performance?

Probably in the 220's. Best fight probably from what I seen would be Liakhovich. The Holmes fight, I thought he should have at least gotten a draw, he gave Larry Hell that night.

Saoul Mamby, even after all that he got his alphabet soup title, lost it via questionable decision, and yet still upsets young fighters after.

Surprised I haven't seen a Bert Cooper shout!! 38-25, gave some push back to some very good fighters, especially Michael Moorer

Fritizie Zivic is the best answer, imo, with 65 losses, but hes already been mentioned.

Of those ive not seen mentioned yet:

I consider Ezzard Chalres as the GOAT at LHW and the 5th greatest p4p boxer of all time. His record is 95-25-1.

Sixto Ecabar is a borderline ATG BW despite being 39-23-4.

Julian Francis and Bob Stallings both lost more than they won.

Danny Williams never ending career has really damaged his paper record, which now stands at 55-33.

He was a absolute tank who seemed to be almost all pressure, no brakes... and yeah, he could whack. He was also on the receiving end of one of the most chilling one punch KO's of all time.

Dick Tiger lost a lot of early fights on the road fighting six to eight round fights. He was 23 and 9 when he consistently started fighting 10 rounds or more. In an 80 plus fight career that included 19 loses, he was only stopped twice and one of those stoppages was against Bob Foster at the end of his career. I believe the other loss was way earlier and because of a cut. The loss to Foster was the only legit KO and he was fighting at light heavy despite only weight 168 pounds.

Ted Sanders for one. I always assumed he bailed on the Ramos rematch because they ordered him to take the fall and he balked.

He gave Kronk's Mickey Goodwin his first loss, Drew with Rocky Mosely Jr, and Superbad Mays, and ended his career by squelching I.W Johnson's career in his last fight out the door. Watching the last round and a half of the Ramos fight, I can see why he was so tough. He looked like a cross between S.T Gordon and Bonecrusher Smith only with good stamina. Ramos got tired of punching a telephone pole and just ran out of gas.
