Floyd, GGG and Pacquiao fans. But in terms of treating their fighters like a god id say Mike Tyson and currently Tyson Fury

Just read through this thread & just wondered why OluG Rotimi is still banned?? Weve had many good natured sparring matches on here but never seen him post anything out of line

It's Mike Tyson. Some are convinced that no human being who ever lived on the planet could beat Mike Tyson in his prime in a boxing match.

Then Pacquiao has some rabid fans, probably more rabid than any fan base. Mayweather fans are also up there with Pacquiao fans. Had to deal with one of these abject morons the other day on this very forum.

Ali fans are still around but they don't seem to be as rabid or delusional as some of the other fan bases.

Josh Warrington has a great fanbase, check out some ring entrances if he hasn't been mentioned already - browsed a few pages and didn't see anything - UK fighters generally are so highly followed if they're a fan of their football club and marketed well and accordingly. Warrington is the Leeds fan club chairman so speaks for itself regarding the Hatton esque element, as also a large city by our standards

We never get answers for these things, but my guess he must of p.o.d a mod in lounge side. Last I saw I think he was getting called out for race baiting on a political thread. Again, all speculation on my side, but we had some good chats in the lounge, so I'm a bit surprised he's been out so long.

Floyd isn't in the conversation. We are talking about die-hard fans. Do you think Floyd would have as many 'fans' if he lost?? Pac and Trinidad spring to mind, they have entire Nations following them to the bitter end, win lose or draw. Hatton deserves a mention for sure. JCC also.

Lots of good responses in this thread, Floyd, Pac, Canelo, etc. I would say Mike Tyson because he appealed to a wide audience, including all casual fans. Mike faced two elite, prime HWs in his career and was soundly beaten by both, in three fights. His biggest scalp was the ghost of Larry Holmes but people still love him and many consider him an ATG. To suggest he’s anything but one of the greatest gets them riled up. This is why he easily gets my vote as fighter with most rabid fan base.

For big fights they reckon 30-40,000 would travel to Vegas for him maybe more. That’s a fan base to rival anyone in history imo in boxing

Golovkin fanatics are a different breed. They adore, love, and defend him. Let's put it this way, they are still mourning his loss and draw against Canelo, and it doesn't seem they will ever get over it.

I used to be a big Golovkin fan when he first came into the world scene, bought into the hype. After I attended his fight against Rubio it just dawned on me that this world level fighter was not interested in taking risks. When he rejected the Ward fight I completely gave up on him... Talking about fighting anyone between 154-168, being avoided by everyone while fighters like Trout, Lara, Andrade were begging to fight him. He's a phony.

Don't forget the ODLH fan boys, AKA the Golden Girls. I can only compare them to fans of Backstreet Boys or nSync, they were so devoted to him. Lets not forget our resident fan club leader trying to tell everyone the fishnet pics were fake!!! Now that is an intensive fan!

I honestly wonder how he can even make such posts seeing as he was just 10 when Tito and Oscar fought. Tyson would have gotten out of prison when the TS was 4-5. Was hardly much an internet back then. :eyebrow2:
