Khan finds himself dead-square on to his opponent so often it's unreal. His footwork consists solely of galloping around the outside of the ring, before coming in to the middle, throwing a combo and then back out to galloping I guess it's because Europeans have never learned to cut the ring off* * excluding Wladimir 'the exception' Klitschko
its more that his feet get tangled up all the time, not as much now, but early in his career he almost tripped over himself every time he threw a combo people said hatton had no/bad footwork, which was just flat out rediculously wrong.
Yeah - Hatton had great footwork. It was pretty much the only thing he had going for him against Mayweather to make the fight competetive
Vitali's footwork is not that bad, he's got an awkward style...but he doesn't fall off balance after punching unlike others. He's not graceful, but he gets the job done and avoids harm.
:think he had a lot more than that, do you recall he hurt mayweather in round 4. the fight was pretty even until hatton had a point deducted. in my opinion it was a bit harsh, i though cortez was poor that night. after the point deduction hatton had to change his game plan and go for broke and he ended up getting KO'd. it would have been interesting to see what would have happened if he hadn't lost a point
After reading some post,i have to say...Hatton would never beat Mayweather Jr,never. They could fight ten times and Hatton would lose ten times. I see Floyd finding new ways to KO him in the process.
I don't recall him hurting him, I recall him landed a right hand in round 2 which caught floyd off balance, and then following up quickly making Mayweather look all over the place - but I put this down to Hatton's footwork catching Floyd by surprise. It didn't happen again after that.
