Rocky was 6-6. But Clyde Gray was 0-3 and Armando Muniz was 0-4.

Susumu Hanagata was 1-7 in world title fights.
Martin Vargas went 0-4 with some really rough luck in terms of who the champions were.

Victor Polo went 0-4-1 in title fights against Juan Manuel Marquez, Scott Harrison, Smoke Gainer, Medina etc. He lost split decisions to Gainer and Medina and had a draw against Harrison in a fight where most thought he won. Marquez was the only guy that beat him cleanly.

Even though hes my favorite fighter, whats Norton? He held a title but was around 0-3 in title fights no?

To be fair, that trilogy with Ali really should've gave him that undisputed title.

The Ali trilogy had nothing to do with Norton`s world title fight record aside from the third fight which he probably won anyway.

    Eh?

    Beat McCall - 1.

Lost to Tim, Bonecrusher, Mike, Lewis and Mike - 5.

No, Smith was not a world champ when he fought Frank, he went on to win a world title by beating Witherspoon in 1986 and then lost that title to Tyson in 87, he wasn`t world champ in 1984 when he beat Frank.

Bonecrusher was a 10 rounder, not a Title fight. Frank lost to every genuine elite Heavyweight he fought with the exception of McCall who had been on a bender since his victory against Lewis.

Wondering which title challenger had the worst record AND the fewest rounds.

    Hmmm.
