:happy His punch variety and technique were absolutely awesome. Some of the combination punching vs Rosario was just jaw-dropping.

Intangibles = a cliched word certain boxing fans use to make them appear to be literate. :dead:dead:dead:lol::rofl:patsch

This is a bit of a pet peeve of mine. It's like the commentators are completely blind when they watch him. How can you be surprised five times in a row and go "He's actually showing some defense! hahahah!" I get nauseous. I've seen the majority of Vic's fights and the only time he's ever seemed like the fighter he's betrayed as (negatively), to me, was against Donaire when Donaire really was masterful and Vic really, from what I remember anyway, had lost his composure to a guy that had his number in every way.

Yeah, Pacquiao showed a clear glass body against 165lbs Margarito and 150+lbs Cotto.

ESB's biggest ****** just got a whole lot more embarrassing.

When Torrecampo punched him in the nuts, Pacquiao was totally unable to take it, *******. Explain that! Maybe Poppactardkins thinks Pac was past it then when he was only a TEENAGER! ...Pacquiao has a glass body, not up for debate.

Probably not so applicable amongst boxing fans, but Mike Tyson's jab, footwork and his ability to set up crisp combinations behind his defense are terribly underrated in the general community.

Granted some of that skill level diminished post-jail, but it irks me when I have to explain to casual fans it was his speed, footwork and defense which won him his fights not just a "big punch".

There used to be an excellent tribute video of Tyson's defense on youtube, but since I can't track it down here's two alternatives:

Speaking of Marciano his defense is defnitely underrated. Everyone remembers his solid jaw, but forget he fought out of a crouching style which confused and many taller heavweights had great difficulty landing good shots as he came in. Yes he can be hit as he had the desire to trade shots once on the insid, but think again if you plan to keep in at the end of a long jab and straight rights as he comes in.
