When you think of the term 'unorthodox' what are some fighters that fits that description? The first fighters that come to my mind would be Ali, RJJ, and Hamed.
What other unorthodox boxers can you think of?

Most of the ingle sheffield gym fighters. Why they decided to make every fighter use the same unique instinctive style regardless of actual talents is beyond me though.

Hamsho, Vito, Fullmer, Benes, Chang, Marciano, Moon, Tonna, Galindez, Bonavena, Roldan, Mugabi, Boy Green, Muniz, Marvin Johnson, Olivares, Mosley, PAcquaio, Limon, Calzaghe, Collins

For stylists\cuties many of the panamian stylists were a whole offshoot of their own, but still very well schooled in most ways...Laguna, Marcel, Duran etc Buchanan, too sharp, Chan-Hee Park, El Feo, Eubank just a few others who have a lot of unusual moves or unique body rhythms, though in many cases it's as much advanced individual refinement of basic techniques as it is something truly unique or "wrong".

Would Sugar Ray Leonard count as unorthodox?

    no

clowning and shoe shining doesn't make you unorthodox

Naseem Hamed and Max Baer were the first to come to mind. Jimmy Young has a pretty unorthodox style, leaning out of the ring and such.

    :rofl:rofl

leaning out of the ring... is only unorthodox in the sense that it is a bitch move

It was all Young's plan to confuse and dissuade his opponent from hitting him, they'd feel bad you see? If it wasn't for Young being jacked off by judges good and proper he'd be walking around with one of the best resume's ever: Ali, Norton, Lyle, Foreman, Shavers the list goes on.

    Shavers was Young's (2 times) daddy .

2d topic : i do not remember anything unorthodox about Collins .

    Michael Spinks was just **** () , but a rather orthodox **** .
In terms of d way he fought .
He won because his opponents were either :
    1) much smaller and usually also older
    2) even worse :yep
    3) had some hindrance by d time that he fought them
*) some combination of d above

D way he moved was his improvisation of a serious knee/s injury/ies

    my candid8s :

    Arnold Cream
    Montell Griffin
