Donald Curry. He looked unbeatable until a limited Honeyghan made him look very ordinary.
Mike Tyson. I honestly thought he would break Marciano's record comfortably.
Anthony Yarde. A bit leftfield, but he looked a monster until recently.

I hate saying it but most overrated fighter of the 80s. four years it looked like he could do no wrong then from 1986 on, he became just like any other fighter, he was vulnerable and susceptible to losses and by 1991, struggling, hanging on for one last paycheck

His biggest ally from the media was KO magazine, anxious to proclaim him the p4p king. with those people, youth is everything, then when the losess pile up, they turn their backs on you

How would you compare him to a guy like Camacho? He was hugely rated by the same magazines.

Was hector ranked number one by KO?

Looking at the record, I see that both boxers turned pro in the very same year

The evidence suggests that Hector was simply superior. Whereas Curry crumbled under the stress of a demanding challenge, Hector passed his challenges

That is why we see Curry as being defeated twice (KOby 6, Koby 5) whereas Hector went undefeated throughout the decade

looking at their performances, we can see the reasons for this. Hector was the much more mobile fighter, confounding opponents with the suddeness of an attack, leaving them off balance, then moving out of range. oppnents could never read him, unable to brace for his next attack. We see this in vintage Camacho - early televised bouts

Curry was much more stationary but thankfully, he did have some degree of success; just not as much as Hector

Who or what is red rooster?

How about Terry Norris? He was rated pretty high at times but had a half decent run too.

More than half decent as it turned out. KO ranked Terry as the greatest jr Middle ever. In this case, that claim is very well justified

    what is redrooster?

How do you think a fight between Terry and Tony Ayala would go?

When he first came out I though Roy Jones had the talent to be the best ever. That never panned out. Still a great talent and fighter but not TBE

. Never a dull moment with you about. Bit too late on the Tony denial.

Next up Frank "Le Animarl" Fletcher, the Weaver Triplets and your favorite son SRL.

Joe Louis, Jack Johnson and Harry Greb. The more I dissect their resume and research their careers the less impressed I am with them.

    Holmes is overrated.

I think Tyson was always a bad style for him.

Norris definitely takes the 154 crown for longevity. Hearns and McCallum are 1a and 1b for me.
