If Holyfield wins it would generate more fans back to the sport of boxing again, Holyfield is in the top 3 in ppv sales of any fighter all-time just behind Tyson. People can identify with the name Holyfield not Iggy, it would be better for boxing if Holyfield wins.

I agree, Holy in his prime is a different story. Wlad cant fight to well when his oppenent comes right at him trying to take his head off, like Peter did in there first match its just too bad Peter smothered his punches when Wlad was hurt.

Man! You're betting seven months on a man you're not sure of based on being so certain that Taylor is bad? Dangerous.

Lewis was a better boxer in my opinion, and a had a better chin. One Tua left hook and Wlads chins getting shattered in a million pieces.

Not sold yet, but I think he is still a good prospect. The next year will be a telling one for him I think. Whether he will be the next Cotto or the next Allan Green.

Peter is one guy I am definatly not sold on. In the 2nd fight with Toney where he attempted better punch teqnique, he sacrificed power in doing so. Against Wlad I don't think he would ever have anything better than a punchers chance.

People go on and on about his power but power is meaningless if you can't land. I've said it before and I''ll say it again. Peter is like a guy with a 9 inch **** and erectile disfunction

i agree with you bro. berto looks like a promising prospect, but we'll see if he has any substance against his first test in estrada.

back to the topic. i'm not sold at all about amir khan, imo he's is in for a rude awakening some time in the near future.

i think he's a good fighter, but i'm not sold on jorge linares yet. i only saw him against larios, so i'll have to see some more of his fights to be able to judge properly.

Wlad fought dirty and clinched Peter compusively and repeatedly with no warnings. In a fair fight Wlad would get ****ed up..Peter would have Wlad backpeddaling turning his back and scared as he was that fight. Wlad has no heart and when Peter walked through his punches he was confused and just tried to make it over. He hurt Peter once or twice..Peter put him on his ass 3 times.. And Peter lost no power as he almost took the iron chined and iron headed james toney out of there the second fight..Peter's jab as he said is like a right hand..I suggest you look at that fight again and see how much power Peter has. He almost knocked Toney out with a damned jab and had Toney backed up and wobbled by jabs. Peter makes Wlad crumble.

I like your comparison that was pretty funny. Your halfway right, but you got to give Peter some credit on beating Toney without knocking him out, Rahman, Ruiz and Holyfield couldnt do it. While peter did sacrifice power against Toney, he felt he had to win considering Toneys amazing head movement and boxing skills. Peter will bring the fight to Wlad if they fight again, knowing that Wlad has panic attacks when pressured by heavy punchers.

Berto is more likely to be the next Zab then the next Cotto. He is strong and active and has pretty good power. But he is not a smart fighter at all. He will not be the future of the Welters.
