were dark twisted ****s with alll kinds of issues.

    1. Oscar Delahoya this guy reeked of a ****ing phony it annoyed me to see through this **** while everyone else ate it up.

    2. Ricky Hatton- his annoying Im every man fabrication replete with dart throwing at the pub .....a guy that jolly and centered doesnt get KTFO then brood, contemplate suicide and become a coke addict, However an egomanical **** who takes himself way too seriously sure I can see that happening to someone like that.

there are oposites of the persona, take for example Roberto Duran: Duran had this rep of being a hard cruel vicious cat yet in reality Duran is a sentimental, emotional, lover of the underdog.

I dont know how you come to these conclusions but I think you're slightly crazy.

The Klitschko brothers to an extent are fakes. They smile and say nice things about everyone but behind the scenes they are smug, control freaks.
Ask any fighter they faced. Slave contracts, sick demands, tag team tactics etc
The Klitschko brothers think that because they won the championship belts, they own heavyweight boxing. LOL!

This is a horrible thread really. Who are you to judge Ricky hatton and how he handeld defeat when you haven't been on that level and felt the highest of tops to go to the lowest of lows.

    Just shut up.

Old Foreman 100%. Most people that work with him didn't like him

I feel like Joe Louis definitely had some repressed anger inside, he basically had to be a certain way for the press and boxing circles to accept him and allow him to fight for the title

I've heard too many stories about Old Foreman for them not to have some level of truth. His was the first name that came to mind.

I've met Donaire and he is about the nicest guy I've ever met. Watched a fight next to him, ran into him later in the night and he acted like we were old friends.

Big George fits the thread perfectly. He did his best jolly grandpa impersonation during his comeback but, he was (and always will be) a brooding bully deep down on the inside.

So because Hatton took his loses hard and had close to a nervous break down makes him a bad person? No one said he was angel beforehand but this is a bit over the top.

Only met one boxer and that was Enzo Mac on holiday when he was still WBU champ. Thoroughly nice guy, stood at the airport at 3am giving autographs on his flight home and was a genuinely nice guy during his stay at the hotel. Hated seeing him get KTFO by Haye even though I'm a Haye fan.

OP says "were dark twisted ****s with all kinds of issues," not just guys who were assholes.

I think Pac is a nice guy, but he would fit under the threads' premise.
