Fighters you disliked and then changed your opinion of and end up liking?

de la hoya, hopkins , mayweather, vernon forrest, nonito donaire, antonio tarver and most recently andre dirrel , i remember the fist time a saw him. . . i watched 2 rds and i was like. . . wtf. then i turned of my tv lol

 

Im not gonna lie I used to hate him and Wright for beating my man Mosley but I let it go years ago.

 

I will be one as soon as I see more of his fights. Im not gonna jump on just because of his success against Abraham.

 

while i didnt think he initially deserved to be in the S6 considering those who werent...i was a fan of his in the sense that i was excited to see where his career would take him. but i am pleasantly surprised how he rebounded from the froch fight where he looked and fought a little scared to put in such a good showing against a guy who bangs even harder. pretty good for a guy w/ his limited experience. then factor in the **** he's catching and yeah...i can see how this would happen.

 

Barrera and Lennox Lewis

 

Sugar Ray Leonard - I thought he was cocky way back in the days, but it was just confidence, and there's been a lot more arrogant boxers since him. After seeing a few interviews of him, I changed my mind. A nice person actually.

 

This I know, but the man has got to eat, and he's found his nitch in the business and public eye of the boxing community....So I can understand the business aspect of it.....It's not like he can put food on the table with impressive KO after KO Feather fisted boxers aren't exactly a hot commodity these days.

 

I was high on Dirrell but I think he really put in a disappointing performance against Froch. And I didn't think he had it in him to beat Abraham. Hopefully, he can continue to do well. In terms of raw talent, he's right up there.

Lennox Lewis was one I didn't really take a liking to, until the latter stages of his career and post retirement.

Man back in the day I was a huge Oscar hater and was estatic as hell when Tito "beat" him. But as time went on I was able to reflect and appreaciate his take on all comers mentality. His resume is stacked with a who's who list of hall of famers . Whether you love or hate the man you can't help but respect what he brought to game.

 

None. The fighters I dislike, I dislike for good reasons and most likely those don't change.
