Well, you could say that his losses have been close fights, which is true. Somehow it got popular, the idea that Brook whooped Porter. But that ain´t the case. Well in the sense that it was actually a pretty close fight. Thurman fight was a war and definitely a more competitive loss for Porter than the Brook loss. The Spence loss was arguably a win for Porter. Dude always give his all and even in defeat, he is able to hold his own.
Josh Taylor. Don’t like the man at all outside the ring but admire and respect what he’s done in the ring.
I mean I don't really know their actual personalities but never like floyd but have to respect his abilities. And I'm gonna get a lot of **** for this but I don't really like mike tyson. He's such a narcissist and now he's got this whole "redemption" arc that is just more feeding his narcissism and vanity. Dont think much of gatti on a personal level but what an exciting fighter. Didn't like how morales acted towards barrera during their trilogy but morales is actually one of my favorite fighters of my lifetime.
Overall agree. However with Morales and Barrera, they were both shits. I'm not sure if you are familiar with Spanish or watched any of their interactions on Spanish TV, but Barrera was also very arrogant and a **** towards Morales. I remember Barrera sucker punched Morales at one of the press meetings. So I'm somewhat fine with Morales behavior as well. However I love both fighters styles, so not that concerned.
Chinny?! He took a bomb from Donaire that was screaming lights out, yet managed to stay on his feet and survive the assault
There aren't really any current fighters I dislike that comes to mind. I get a little annoyed by some, but that's about it. Will have to think on this.
It's tough because Tyson is such a unique character, and he has the introspection to realize he's had one of the strangest lives ever lived. That said, even if you don't believe the **** charge, he's admitted to doing serious violence against women and men who didn't deserve it. They don't get a podcast, their kids aren't going to private school, they didn't have all these resources to help them work through their ****. So he might be the opposite, I'm a fan but can't admire him. Lara, obviously he's a contender and gets results but to me he's more evasive than elusive. There were times when he was doing absolutely nothing but moving and Canelo still landed. Lara made it close with his strategy but a win would have been the wrong decision.
