What boxers who retired do you think could have still made noise had they continued?

    Hagler.

Even though he already accomplished everything to make a great case for middleweight GOAT, I wanted a Leonard rematch, and a Duran rematch.

Hagler retired in the perfect moment he had nothing to prove anymore and he was not the same anymore, michael nunn would have beaten him at that time

Marvin Hagler and Lennox Lewis. It was probably the right decision to stop at that point for them health-wise, but for boxing it would be better if they lasted a little longer.

Rocky Marciano and Joe Calzaghe probably as well, but their legacies would suffer a bit had they lost. Lewis and hagler had few losses and their legacies were secured, so they wouldn't suffer from another loss or two

I agree with this not because of a Leonard rematch. Because for the last few yrs he was only fighting about once a year and I feel that caused him to age prematurely. He could have taken the non title ten rounders to stay busy if he felt he cleaned out the division.

He had nothing to prove, but for boxing it would be better if he had a couple more fights

This I agree with the most Robert..and it's because Gene Tunney retired much too soon, it spared Schmeling, Sharkey, Carnera, Baer and Braddock from having additional "L"'s on their records.
