    For one reason or another.

Regardless of what James Toney's accomplished, I find it hard to respect the guy sometimes.

In between the steroids, weight issues, street thuggery act, the robbery against McCallum...

His claim to fame being, in some peoples eyes, getting lucky against a slipping, on drugs Nunn after being schooled the entire fight.

    Eh.

    You?

Wlad Klitschko, I cant stand him. He has top 5 worst chins by a title holder I have ever seen, he's been down 11 times by 6 different oppenents, and has also been TKO'd 3 times by 2 journeymen and a club fighter. I feel the only reason he looks so great, is because the Heavyweight division is extremely weak and seriously lacks alot of talent in the top ranks. If Wlads prime was in the 90s, he wouldnt last long, his chin would get more exposure than Paris Hiltons *****.

Wladimir Klitschko - weak jaw, prone to panic, boring-ass style, seems to only get by due to sheer size.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. - complete *******, gets overrated by many boxing fans, avoided best competition by moving up through weight classes and cherrypicking.

Manny Pacquiao - same deal as PBF. Loses to the only non-shot version of Morales he fights. Beats a good Barrera the first time but looks very unimpressive against an old survival-mode Barrera in 2007. Gets thoroughly embaressed by Marquez.

Larry Holmes - I give him his due, but I really dislike the man for the **** he started pulling in the early/mid 1980s.

James Toney - steroid abuse, WAY too many split decisions, came out on top in too many fights that he should've lost IMO.

James Jeffries - fails to dominate an ancient super middle in Fitz (even though he eventually won), comes back out of retirement to get trashed by the hands-down best guy he fought. I can't justify placing him top 5 ATG heavyweights, and have a very hard time putting him in the top 10.

Lennox Lewis - I find him overrated. Caught up with alot of the 1980s guys past prime and somehow gets alot of props for finishing them, in fact all of the best guys he fought were far past their prime - only Klitschko and Tua (who aren't even that great in my book) were prime, good contenders. Anybody who shows up out of shape twice and gets coldcocked both times (by McCall and Rahman no less) is overrated in my book.

Sugar Ray Leonard - overrated in my book. Very opportunistic in picking fights, I thought he lost Hagler and Hearns II. Got extra credit for showboating too much.

Just a few that stand out...:D

Eh, Floyd's a pretty decent guy from what I've seen. He plays the *******/villian role to attract attention to himself and his fights.

Kind of like a alternate universe Ray Leonard. He WANTS to be hated by most. He makes more money that way, so why not?

Manny had a hard time coming up in the fight game and took, and lost, some dangerous fights. So I respect him for that.

He may be a decent guy, but he reminds me of the kids in school that think they're thug because they listen to 50 Cent and make "rap videos", even when he grew up to a pretty wealthy family.

I respect Manny for his achievements but I really don't think they're that impressive.

Manny has a long time to go, so who knows. Maybe your views on him will soften.

I really don't think Floyd or even Zab (Any more) buy into the street thug mentality bull****.

Zab's become pretty damned humble after years of being a legitimate *******.

Floyd just does it to get attention and in turn get mo' money.

Evander Holyfield - hanging around too long and I'm starting to tire of him.

    ODLH - same as Evander.

I can't fault Evander, because I know in a decade if not less he's going to be incapable of driving a car, Bowe style.

Tyson-the most over rated Heavy Champ off all time, beat some old champ Holmes, and a host of some decent heavys thats it, when he faced the good-great guys he folded, couple that with wife beater and ****** do you need any more to hate the guy?

You obviously factor in his life outside the ring just as much as anything he did in it.

Not really a great way to judge a fighter, otherwise some of the greatest like Monzon and Hagler are just as unspectacular as you feel Tyson is.

Realistically, just Joy Boy, I can find respect for him but I don't like it.

Guys like Jermain Taylor, I don't find it hard to respect him, because I simply have ZERO respect for him and never will, so it's not an internal conflict.
