Well if you put it like that yea it is a bit stupid, but Pavliks career moves over the last 2 1/2 years was what put things in motion and those guys "ghost riding" really made me go back and study KP's fights and It made me realize that I was looking for something fresh and new in boxing but it was all a hype job...........:yep

 

Vit Klit... I was so routing against him when he was fighting Herbie Hide and until the Lewis (another favorite of mine) fight I wasn't a fan at all, but that all changed rapidly after that.

I did'nt really hate him, but I was ambivalent about Arthur Abraham. I became a fan after the 2nd Miranda fight though. The guy is a vicious, vicious puncher. I think he KO's pavlik if a fight between them materialized. Seems like a decent guy out side the ring too.

 

Bernard Hopkins. I always thought his style of boxing was ugly and boring, but over the years my appreciation for him has grown. A truly great fighter who's old school. Fundamentally sound and effective. You gotta respect that.

 

Vic D hated him for the longest but started liking him after the demolition job he put on Mijares.

Adamek thought he was overrated and not worthy of praise. Now I love him and hope he wins a HW title someday.

Paulie thought he was a ***** before the Cotto fight. After that fight I became a fan of his toughness, heart and showmanship.

Williams wasn't fan right off that bat thought he had an ugly style but later grew to appreciate him and what he brings to the sport.

Lewis hated him while he was active only after he retired and I re-evaluated his career did I fully start to appreciate his greatness.

 

JERMAINE TAYLOR!! I hated Taylor after he beat Hopkins because I felt he wasn't living up to his potential, but i ended up rooting for him against Pavlik because I just didn't like Pavlik i guess, and felt so good when he knocked him down. Then Kelly knocked him out and I was sad. Den he knocked him out again and I was angered(by Taylor not Pavlik), and now I just feel sorry for him.

 

as to the first part...you've come to the right place noob, there is a huge support group on here for people who don't like pav. they commonly meet in the same threads as pav's few fans on here so it makes for an interesting dialogue

as to the second part...that was a close points win for kelly not a ko.

you didnt say he wasnt on your radar, you said you just didnt like him and i was breaking balls. not everyone here takes this personally...i meant nothing by it.

 

Loved Oscar as a boxer. Hated his guts and hypocrisy as a promoter.

Loved Margo's relentless toughness pre-plaster. Hated him with a passion now and hoped he'd be banned for life.

Fan of the LW May but hated the WW (cherry-picking and underwhelming) version. Aggravated more by the "greater than SRR" "boxing's version of MLK Jr." BS... the disrespect and audacity.. :twisted::-(

Hated Tyson for running over almost everyone like that and the "eat-your-children" bad taste of a joke. Loved and missed him more esp. at this sorry stage of the HW div...

Wasn't a fan of BHops, but the way he one-sidedly beat and utterly schooled Pavlik (which I had and will always be a fan of), plus the way he seemed to balance out GBP's shenanigans, had earned my respects and lifetime loyalty.. :good
