I AM a nice guy :good
funnily enough you feel that people try to cover things up regarding Tyson, i feel the opposite way, i feel that a lot of poeple seem to make up things about him to make him look bad. Ive come come across threads like Adamek could beat Tyson because Holyfield did it and Adamek is a lot better than Douglas etc etc etc, Tyson would back down once he knew Adamek wasnt afraid of him.

Those losses could have dented his confidence, but this is Holyfield were talking about. Secondly maybe after seeing how poor Tyson looked post prison, Holy thought....i can take him.
Holyfield is a great fighter he woul have noticed things like....
Mcneely bullying and backing Tyson against the ropes
Tyson throwing and missing wild shots against Mcneely
Buster Mathis schooling Tyson before getting caught
Bruce Seldon pissing jabs on Tyson until he decided to fall down. If i can see this watchign those fights, im sure Evander would have noticed too.

Although i feel tyson is overrated by alot of people, not necessarily overated himself, because of stupid things they say like "Tyson too fast for Ali, KO1" ther is also the other side of the coin where XYZ and their granny could beat Tyson as long as you werent afraid of him, which just isnt true

Here is a list of fighters that have grown on me over the years -

Paul Williams - at first I disliked him because I though he was all hype and that the logo that he was the "most feared man" in boxing came a bit too discredible in my opinion. However, he showed tremendous heart in the ring against Sergio Martinez and although I think he didn't deserve the win, I am glad he is taking the rematch.

Jermain Taylor - unfortunately he has been too inactive lately but I love the way he signed a rematch to fight Pavlik right after his knock out loss. Then he went on to fight Frosch and Abraham. Clearly Jermain believed in himself and pushed himself against the best out there in his division.

Becoming a big fan of Robert Guerrero. Tough, tough fighter whose skills are improving. Gotta give him props with all him and his family has gone through with his wife's leukemia. He turned the biggest fight/purse of his career down against Katsidis because his wife was having difficulties at the time.

Okay, when they were fighting most of their careers I was kind of against Morales in most of his big fights (Barrera, Pac, etc.) Now the way he went out against Pac, and after I ordered his career, he is one of my all time favorites, and by the third Pac fight I was rooting for him. I was in the arena when he mocked Pac in the first fight, and looked dead at his face when he put his hands up Pac style from a shot, and I couldn't help but laugh. That face was priceless, with his goofy smile and big nose. It was much better than the camera angle on Hbo from the side, dead on it was great. What a great great performance.

Hamed is another. I was so happy when Barrera defeated him with that cocky, even my hair looks good, unorthodoxy, but now I miss him. Always liked Hopkins for his talent.

Never really did warm up to Tito for all the ball punching going on. Obviously I was against Pac in the first Barrera fight, but by his next fight I had warmed up sufficiently to wish that it had ended in the first.
