Defo Naz, speaking from a british perspective! That guy was pure entertainment.
I also miss the young Trinidad.

Ali, Tyson and few others are some of the hardest figures to be replaced in boxing, massive icons!

    Barrera also.

I'm not going go lie either, I missed money mayweather a wee bit during his short retirement.

I wouldn't say I've been a boxing fan long enough to really miss anybody but I have become huge fans of Vargas, Morales and Trinidad of those who have fought fairly recently and would have loved to have seen them at their peaks, although apparently the rumour is Vargas is coming out of retirement to face Hector Camacho Jr at light-heavyweight. Hope that's not true. :-(

A part of me doesn't really want a special fighter to come around in this era with this sort of climate, i dunno its a bit of a catch-22, on the one hand if someone special like some of those already mentioned pop up now then they'd probabily be fighting in abscurity and be anonymous to the general public with muppets like fat mick as 'promoters', which would be really sad, However on the other hand its only with special fighters coming up that will get us gotta this quagmire, its one of the key ingredients (especially a heavyweight)

I also miss Scott Harrison, after going to a fair few of his fights as a 13 - 15 year old and absolutely loved the buzz at them (even the 59 second demolition of kebebe) and the controversial draw against Victor Polo.

I'll never forget the night I sat at ring side (thanks to the suckers sitting next to my amateur coach who left after the amir khan fight) for his fight against Skinny Hussein. We had only paid for 30 pound tickets but managed to get in the seats which must have cost a good bit over a 100 pounds. Brilliant experience being able to watch a world title fight from that close.
