Though I hate Floyd Sr. I think he would do Jermaine Taylor some good.

I also think that Valero and Roach would be a good combination. Freddie could teach him some defense..........Like tucking his chin in!

edison miranda is physically blessed. long arms and power. he was never taught how to throw a proper punch, sadly.

lol it was said with tongue-in-cheek.

But as far as I'm concerned.. neither Roach nor Floyd Sr. are assertive enough to really get Judah's head down. He doesn't need a good-trainer. He just needs someone to get him on lock.... & in the gym, clocking-in hours. That's what he needs FIRST AND FOREMOST.

Tactics come after for a guy like Judah...

well. he is a 1-2 fighter who works in straight-lines & will throw a left-hook only when the opponent is on the ropes & his opponent's gloves are basically screaming "throw the ****ing left hook & get ma boy outta here!".

Imagine what a prime Winky would've done to Pavlik. Pavlik isn't as versatile or well-rounded a fighter as Jermain & takes a better shot. That would have been even more epic footage than seeing Wright eat Mosley's best-shots to his face... & also take repeated shots on the gloves... God, that shell was the sex!

If you tell the buggers to clean up their act all you get is friction. Switching trainers accomplishes nothing about 99% of the time simply because the motives for switching are wrong.
