I think all fighters should move up in weight at some point, staying in one weight class your entire career isn't "great" to me. Here's my list of fighters I think should move up at some point in their career and how far I think they should go.

    Andre Ward: 175
    Gennady Golovkin: 168, 175
    Saul Alvarez: 160, 168
    Erislandy Lara: 160
    Danny Garcia: 147, 154
    Guillermo Rigondeaux: 126
    Leo Santa Cruz: 126, 130
    Vasyl Lomachenko: 130
    Terence Crawford: 140, 147
    Mikey Garcia: 135, 140
    Lamont Peterson: 147
    Chris Algieri: 147
    James Kirkland: 160
    Demetrius Andrade: 160, 168, 175
    Timothy Bradley: 154
    Keith Thurman: 154
    Austin Trout: 160

Agree? Disagree? Someone I didn't mention?

I don't think many should. Only the ones that can't make the weight safely/legitimately anymore and the ones that are at a dead end at their division.

why do you want people to move up who haven't done **** in their division. let guys like Thurman, GGG, Loma, Algieri, Crawford clean out their division first.

I agree about Ward, Danny and Canelo

I'd like to see Cotto and Canelo move all the way up to 160lbs when they fight for the lineal middleweight title.

    Word for word, this.

And add on "and they can move up while retaining their skills/attributes" to the end of it.

I think a fighter should fight the next division, up or down from their walking around weight.
