Gamboa's come up a few times. What a waste of potential he's turning into. Anyone know why he's been so inactive?
50 Cent is his promoter, for one. And he was linked to that PED lab in Miami, as well... The writing was on the wall when he signed to fight Brandon Rios and then no showed at the presser only to bail out of the fight the next day. Rios went on to face Richar Abril, and by the account of 98% of those who watched, Rios lost almost every single round.
V. Ortiz before the Maidana fight of course, Gamboa, and Boner! I also thought Khan was going to actually be a top guy before Garcia Koed his ass. My next guy is Thurman, hopefully he doesnt fall in the same category as those guys.
Gamboa, Linares, Dirrel and Guzman. It's over for Guzman; he's only huge for his frame. Gamboa can still make some noise; Linares seems to be slightly back in the mix and I've no idea whether Dirrel actually wants to be a boxer. Shame because I think Dirrel is an amazing talent.
I thought Jose Benavidez would have come along more by now. He could still be a star, but his progress seems to have been stunted.
Gamboa, Gary Rusell, GGG Gamboa failed to deliver GRJ became an overprotected joke on the other hand, GGG's meteoric rise has been trounced so far by all those cowardly duckers avoiding him
Haye - I at least thought he would be in some decent fights at heavy maybe NO3 in division behind kilts - its been a waste tho 2 half decent fights and that's it. I bet the come back will be a well past it veteran Pavlik - burned bright but when he came back he was a shell I thought Kirkland would be back near the top of the division but seems to be taking an age to get their Ward could be close to being one of the best ever but it looks like his prime might pass him by
