For me, it's gotta be Kell Brook. Kell was almost stopped by slightly-above-journeyman-level Carson Jones. And then there was the ugly Porter fight, whom I've never rated highly. But then Kell Brook shocked the world and proved that he was "special" when he was competitive against Golovkin.

    How about you?

Competitive with golovkin ? For the love of god, he couldn't last 5 (FIVE) rounds. That's what you thinks competitive, Jacob's was competitive. Wow, simply wow

Competitive means Kell was in the fight, which he was. He wasn't blown the **** away. If you want to see blown the **** away, watch Pacquiao-Hatton.

If you want to argue that that was due to Golovkin's abandonment of boxing, then so be it.

He was "in" round 2, other than that single round he wasn't in anything.. True, ggg fought to make sure he got the stoppage.

Even round 2 was competitive, being "in" a fight means to me he has a legit shot. KB had zero shot from go.

That's enough with you, you'll just troll for 72 hours straight, I couldn't ever keep up

Agree with you about Brook. His best win is Porter. I was surprised he did as well as he did for the short time he endured against GGG. But I wonder how much of that was GGG trying to outbox him to prove he could box. It seems like GGG said enough of this BS and dispatched of Brook fairly easily once Gennady determined to end it.

According to Hatton, he was winning round 2 by a "country mile" until he got caught with the left.

Brook is a perfect example of why you progress at your own rate.

He took a very long time to reach his peak...but quite a peak it is...

Still shouldn't have been fighting Frankie Gavin and No No Dan after he beat Porter....ridiculous.

I lost some money on Cleverly and Kov. I thought Kov was just a puncher and would get a boxing lesson by Clev. No fussed I lost a few hundred quid to be hones because I become a fan of his overnight and have seen all of his fights since.

Miguel Cotton after he beat the absolute dog **** out of Sergio Martinez.

I thought Cotton was shot, damaged goods, and didn't have a shot vs the lineal MW champ Maravilla. The man almost got knocked out by Floyd Mayweather at 154 with pillow gloves for goodness sakes. A Martinez knock out was almost a sure thing to happen. Everything changed in round one though when Cotton threw a meaty hook that shook Martinez's equilibrium and broke his knees, it was pretty much downhill from there. After that victory, I look at Miguel Cotton with a little bit more respect.
