I only follow a couple of fighters on social media but I wish Joe Bugner was on Instagram. I've always found him to be very likeable and his interviews are worth listening to - he says what's on his mind rather than coming out with safe cliched answers that a lot of sports figures hide behind. I think he was unfairly treated by the press and I'd like to know how he's getting on.

I didn't know about this until you mentioned it. I'm reading the posts on the thread now. This is really sad. I don't know whether this is connected to boxing but it could well be. Paul Pender retired young and didn't show any symptoms of CTE for 20 years. Fighters can't even have the reassurance of knowing they left the sport unscathed.
