I'd like to see a late 80s through 90s Foreman. Using him just a "yard stick" so to speak, so we could maybe get a more accurate and impartial gauge as to how good or bad the current talent pool crop of heavyweights really are. So many opinions are held on this for so many different reasons .

Similar to the way Foreman did in the late 80s- 90s as a comeback 70s fighter. He competed across and through different eras and in doing so he gave a fairly good indication of any "real" differences, if any generally, in the talent pools era wise

He showed back then even at the age he was, the pedigree of the 70s fighter still shone through in the late 80s/90s regardless if he won or lost, against some of the top or tier 2 & 3 fighters. (Ultimately regaining a heavyweight title)

So yes, I quite like this idea. Fully wind up and Stick a 39/40 year old George Foreman loose on a come back trail as of now. I wonder how far he'd get and what he'd actually achieve???

Dmitry Pirog, his career felt cut short for sure, just as he'd landed the GGG fight his back gave in and he had to retire. Thought even if he'd lost that one he'd still have gone on to do something, very talented.
