All I know is some cretin started a Hagler vs Pavlik thread, and there were numerous Pavlik ballhuggers that thought it wasn't a forgone conclusion he gets KTFO inside 3 rounds

Anyway, you've just mentioned 2 of the most guilty parties right there. Pavlik walks on water before turning it into wine according to boodradley, and I also hate his name as it reminds me of 'To Kill A Mockingbird' and how badly I failed my essay in English class

Jetski is consistently found clinging to the sacks of various fighters of Eastern European heritage, or so it seems

The Hagler thread was started by Rumsfeld. I have no idea where he stands as far as liking or disliking Pavlik. If we can find that thread, lets look thru and see what the Real Pavlik fans posted.

All those posters mentioned do, as I said earlier, is DEFEND against crazy hate. Mostly from Calzaghe fans. None of us start any threads or have any illusions about Pavlik's current status. Hell the guy is only 25 and just won his first title, THE HARD WAY with no inside help to get to the top quick, and has yet to even make his first defense. Yet fans of a 10 year reigning champ from a higher weight division just can't fookin take it.:huh

I guess I can understand your frustration that we don't just lay down and say, yeah Joe can KO our guy in 3 like Amsterdam says he will.

It's not so much that, it's more that they think its as simple as Pavlik walks through Slappy Joe and KO's him. 45 people thought Joe slaps, why the hell is Pavlik going to be the one to walk through it? :huh

Not only does it completely ignore all of Calzaghe's strengths, but its also pretty naive to think a guy undefeated in 18 years is simply going to be walked down and KO'd :-(
