I had no idea if Guthrie would have that kind of durability but I never dreamed Reggie would be the one to expose him. I rated Joppy highly and was surprised how easily Tito got him out of there.
Good call. Some of us are too embarrassed to admit we had Joppy to win, and even those who did not, as you suggest, thought the fight would be closer than it was.
Abner Mares getting KOd by Jhonny Gonzalez in the first round. Was pretty highly rated back then in the lower weight division before Gonzalez derailed and has not been the same fighter since then. Although I actually found it to be a satisfying poetic justice because of his dirty style, especially when he fought Agbeko.
