Hill won that fight vs Maske by three to four rounds, inspite of the cut. He took the first six, clean. Calzughi....I have to admit, he beat lately men I din't think he would. Too bad he wasted a decade in fighting Who's?...
Roy Jones Junior. James Toney. Basically with me, I tend to not appreciate fighters fully until they retire/badly past their best. But when they get to that point, while everyone else simply dismisses those fighters, it's only then I appreciate what they have done for me/for the sport. For me, fighters are not disposable.
Derry Matthews. He was a ****, but now that he got KTFO by Choi, he showed dignity in defeat and respect for his opponent. I have a bit of respect for him now.:deal
I second that. I used to see him as one narcissistic/probably gay borderline, cowardly fouling mommy's boy. But now after his career is over I think that he's a decent guy, faithful to his decent principles. Never avoiding anyone, a man of his word, and a great boxer.
floyd - like many others used to hate him but now i respect the guy jmm - got my respect after the 1st fight w/ pac
