Puzzled why this rematch is even happening. Vanni apparently won every round of their first encounter, a 6-rounder in March of last year that was Vanni's third bout and Nasri's pro debut. They're clearly a few classes apart.

Round 1

Jiménez is dancing around, pawing a jab. Ramo is following him around the ring, batting down jabs with his left palm, and thrusting his own jab down at the face of the ducking Jiménez. At times Jiménez straight up running. Ramo tries clipping him with a low left hook as he is squatting and rolling to his side. Not a fun way to start.

Round 2

Jiménez jabbing up into the goalposts of Ramo from a partial crouch. Ramo reaches down with a left on the body. Jiménez tries countering with a high swatting left hook, but reels in his arm and clutches it in agony. Twelve seconds have passed on the round clock and the ref calls time as Jiménez complains of an injury - pulled his bicep, it seems? Doctor checks him out. It looks as if that's going to do it.

Has to be a NC, yeah? I don't think Jiménez was injured from a Ramo punch and this wasn't long enough to go to scorecards.

 

Well that was ****ing anticlimactic, especially after I sent out the bat signal to everyone.
