I trust you more than anyone on here mate, thanks for the advice :good Vano, yourself as well, thanks. This is something I'd love to do....need to get more 'fluent' in Thai as well! Basically impossible for anyone not raised with their mental Tongue!!!
Mate its definitely worth doing you spend enough time writing essays on here why not put it into a coherent structure and sell it. There is a market for it. You could even do what the bloke who wrote the Nipper Daly book did...publish it yourself. May cost a few bob and take time to see a return but the satisfaction would be immense.
Again, quality advice here. Even writing it to a degree that satisfies me would probably be the biggest achievement of my life. It's such a daunting and impenetrable subject matter, and I already have a good idea at how painstaking it will be to research, but I feel it's something I'd really like to tell people about. That's the crux of it when choosing a subject matter, other than choosing one with the best chance of financial return. Only want a few bob from it to put back into Thailands economy :yep
Jeff Thomas' autobiography: This one time i was fighting in prizefighter and I knocked him down and I was like this :happy then it was a draw and i was like this :? then I congratulated my opponent and I was like this :thumbsup then i swore on national tv and I was like this atsch. Then Jane Couch said I was sexy and I was like this :smooch
