Fighting GGG is a no win for Mayweather and he shouldn't waste time talking about it

First off, it demonstrates how great Floyd is, that at 38, he's still the best p4p fighter by far and so good, that people want to see him face a guy 2 weight divisions above him.

Now some people are saying bu…bu..but GGG said he will come down to 154 and Floyd's fought there before so what's the problem. The problem is GGG has nothing to lose. He a non PPV attraction and doesn't have any big names in his weight class to fight. He desperate wants that Mayweather lottery ticket and is willing to do anything to get.

But we all know as with all potential Mayweather opponents, he's ducking them until the fight gets made than it will be a cherry pick, and bunch of other excuses and new boogeyman will be created. People will claim that Floyd drained GGG even though Golvokin is the one volunteering to come down, ad they will say the fight doesn't count cause GGG was weight drained shell of himself. Floyd won't get any credit and hater know it, and quite frankly he's already proven himself the best of this era so to hell with GGG. Let that ***** move up on division and fith ward, instead of calling out a guy who already moved up 5.

It's probably (money apart, which would be huge) a no-win for GGG as well. If he wins then it's "oh well, he was a damn giant, anyway" so legacy wise I don't know how much it would do for him. I'd EXPECT a non-drained-to-a-corpse Golovkin to beat Floyd.

People so emotionally invested in Floyd. To the point where they attribute psychological motivations upon anyone who dares want to fight the guy.

Thit personality cult just gets creepier by the day....

No win? Really? If he beats Mayweather, he will receive FAME & FORTUNE. Sure, hardcore boxing fans know who GGG is. But the man who defeats Mayweather will become a household name to the casual fans. Consequently, he will become a PPV star.

Golovkin being able to even land a fight against Floyd would be a majestic win in itself.

They fight at 160, it's a suicide. They fight at 154, he gets no credit. Were's the win for mayweather? I dont see it.

Agreed. Floyd's legacy as an ATG is already cemented. Sure, a win against GGG would add to it, but it's not necessary. A lost would most definitely HURT his legacey.

No way Floyd beats GGG.(He could have a chance at a cw 152) He has every right not want to fight him.

A GIANT?? GGG is like 1 inch taller and a few lbs heavier on fight night! LOL. They both have very similar structures and GGG is barely any bigger than floyd!

Exposure for Golovkin but anyone who knows anything knows it only has to do with his size. If it happens then great.
