Ive read a few accounts saying that the crowd booed even heavier when Johnny was announced the winner. Ive always just taken that to mean they thought Harada deserved the bout..and were booing initially (when the draw was announced ) not because Famechon didnt get the win but because Harada didnt. Either way its generally accepted as a robbery..and you would have to say that Harada was rightfully a 3 division champ.
If I had to choose between those two, I'd probably lean towards Harada's. Jofre was still rated as one of the P4P best fighters in the world and was probably as highly regarded as he ever was, and Harada's win over him was a huge upset. Wilde's status was considered somewhat suspect given his layoff and the fact that he'd been pummeled by the much larger Pete Herman the last time out. I believe Villa was actually a slight favorite coming into that match.
Sanchez was the definition of calm and collected in the ring, Harada was like a little buzzsaw. Nothing alike.
