just because berto lost doesn't make him a bum. when does losing make u a bum? if thats the case then pacman is a bum too. ortiz should get more credit for his win than what he is given. berto has fast hands and hit him with solid shots. ortiz just proved to be very determined that fight. i think ortiz loses to pacman, but in no way do i think pac just destroys him like some think. i just hate how all of a sudden a guy loses and hes exposed. berto can definitely become a force in the welterweight division.
Berto is not a bum, he might got beaten, but he didn't get stopped. Pac was knocked out twice. I think Pac should fight Ortiz, but we know he won't, he never fights boxers that are coming off of wins. If Floyd fights Ortiz and beats him, then Pac would fight Ortiz because Pac always fights Mayweather's leftovers.
Berto and Ortiz are good fighters and have shown to be such, Bradley and Khan have as well, what about PAUL WILLIAMS? Why would they not fight Paul Willams if they are trying to sell tickets and make fights "for the fans". He can easily make 147, has said repeatedly he wants to fight at 147, has been a multiple time champion, has a solid resume, etc etc. Why no mention of the Punisher, any of the WW guys, or any of the 140 guys, he's said he won't fight at 154...taking on the JMM, SSM, Tony's of the world when you have guys who are young, hungry, and deserving ****ing sucks. I would say the same for PBF too. The difference is when he beat many of these same guys they were red hot and at the top ie Hatton, SSM. Bottom line these same guys being recycled over and over gets old and it has been established that none of them are at the peak of their game. Berto, Ortiz, Khan, Bradley, and especially Williams are far bigger threats than SSM as it stands today.

Perceived? Maybe . . . but Berto is not a bigger name than Mosley and will not produce bigger $$$$. When a fighter is on top of the chain . . . he always consider the biggest $$$$ he can get.
