Hi all i recently joined a boxing gym and im loving it , only problem is , is that its about 10 miles and a half hour bus journey away so i have to go straight from work. Is there any foods/snacks that youd recommend that i could eat on the way. I dont feel really hungy and i dont feel really tired but i dont think it probably helps and an energy boost would be great without feeling like im gunna throw up due to an intense work out. Cheers guys

Granola bar and a banana. Basically, something light and healthy that will sustain your energy.

He said he's not hungry and he's riding a bus! Do even bother to read people's post before you post a reply?

I dont currently box but before my boxing workouts I like to have a protein/energy bar. My favorite bars are made by pro-lab. They have 20 grams of protein and good carbs to give you some energy in a smaller sized bar (with only 2g of saturated fat). They also taste great, and I have tried lots of different bars. Plus they are only $18 for a box of 12 --- pretty cheap! But if you want to go even lighter I would go with what Amy recommended - a granola bar and banana.

You shoudn't even talk in a training thread.

    Dont even give advice.

It was like last week you were saying on how to use a jumprope.

You can't eat a WHOLE goddamn meal, box for 2 rounds without feeling an affect.

Come on bro. Use better sense than that.

Do you have a fridge at work? You could cut up some cheese and apple and have that. Or a thing of yogurt and banana. String cheese and some almonds.
