I only caught the seventh and eighth; it seemed like Chaïbi was a little busier and sharper but they're not whitewashes, more like 60-40 rounds.

 

The judges score it a majority draw.

I actually figured this was going to be the co-main event; instead it is bout number one of six on the broadcast.

Donsley "The Wild" Figino is 22 with a 6-1 (4) record, recently avenging the one loss.

Rayane "Le Feu" (The Fire) Yahia Berrouiguet is 29 with a 5-1-1 (1) record.

 

Going to war like they DESPITE one another. Lots of fouls, too. Ref letting them more or less hash it out themselves.

 

One if not both of these guys pushed a lot of tickets and packed asses into seats; the crowd in Les Pyramides Congrès in Le Port-Marly is booming for this fight.

 

Just sustained violence for three minutes bell to bell.

Figino dropped Berrouiguet in the 1st, but it was from a behind the head shot and not ruled a KD. Berrouiguet then had Figino wobbling late in R3 from a series of wide hooks.

Figino is the black guy in white trunks with gold/green/black trim, for anyone just tuning in. Berrouiguet is the bearded Maghrebi chap in black.

 

Feels like it mightn't have lasted six if Berrouiguet wasn't a feather-fist.

Figino is all gas, no brakes. Potent offensive fighter for the first 2-3 rounds, but then became a punching bag.
